Privacy policy

ApplicationsForAll publishes independent Android apps and games. Unless an individual product says otherwise, usage preferences and progress are stored on your device. Purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not sell personal information.

OpticTrade (optictrade.net)

This section applies to our web application, OpticTrade, at optictrade.net. It works differently from our Android apps: it requires an account, stores your data on our servers, and takes payment by card. Where this section differs from the policy above, this section applies to that product. It is a research tool, not investment advice — see our Terms of Service.

What we collect

Account details from Google sign-in — your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier. We never receive your Google password and cannot access anything else in your Google account.
What you create in the app — watchlists, portfolio positions and the tickers you have charted, stored in our database so they are there when you return.
Session and server logs — a login session to keep you signed in, plus ordinary request logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) used to operate and secure the site.
Payment record — Premium is a one-time US$25 purchase processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded so we can unlock your account.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary with Google (sign-in), Stripe (payment), and OpenAI — when you use an AI analysis feature, the ticker and its related market data are sent to OpenAI to generate the written analysis. Our hosting provider runs the servers the app and database sit on. Market data comes from third-party sources; we ask them about a ticker, never about you. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our users' safety.

Retention and your choices

We keep your account and the data you create for as long as your account exists. Login sessions expire automatically.
Email us to request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account. Records we must keep for tax or fraud-prevention reasons, such as proof of purchase, are retained as required by law.
You can revoke our access at any time in your Google account permissions — doing so stops you being able to sign in.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honour these requests regardless of where you live.

Security and age

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS and credentials are held in restricted server-side configuration, not in the app's code. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information. This product is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and over.
